KS2039 Lubumuiza Brooch

Late Iron Age (900-1200 AD).
Penannular buckle found in bronze at the burial place Lubumuiza, in Trikata, Northern Latvia. Peninsular buckles were popular in Latvia in the 10th - 13th century. They were used by men and women alike, the smaller ones for shirts and skirts, the larger ones for shawls or mantles and coats. 
H: 38 mm.

KS203 
Early bronze age (1500-800 BC).
Found in bronze at Home, Fåborg. The original is kept at Fyns Stiffs Museum, Odense, Denmark. The shanked pin is later transformed into buttons as the shank disappears and the head is equipped with a lug big enough for a piece of wood or bone to go through and fasten it after it has been pressed through woolen material. 
H: 95 mm.

KS211 Deer Brooch

Late bronze age. (800-400 BC).
Animal motif. Found in bronze at Århus. The remainder of the pin on the backside indicates that it has been a brooch. The animal motif is used over and over again in figures and ornamentation on weapons, tools and jewelry. 
H: 40 mm.

KS220 Skrydstrup Brooch

Early bronze age (800-400 BC).
Found in bronze at Skrydstrup, Sønderjylland.
The first items of caste bronze appear in Scandinavia around 2500 BC. Most excavations reveal jewelry, symbolic weaponry and different religious effects in bronze. According to sources the bronze has been used primarily for the manufacture of items with a symbolic importance or sheer status-symbols. The people of the bronze age were fascinated by the beautiful shine in polished bronze.

KS233 Sjælland Petroglyph Brooch
Nordic Bronze Age (1500-800 BC). Rock engraving, during the Danish bronze age. Numerous pictures and signs were cut into stones, boulders and ice-polished rocks.
The logo for Denmark's Presidency if the EC in 1987 is based on a rock engraving of a ship found on a stone near Gilleleje in Northern Sjælland. This petroglyph dates back  to approx. 1000 BC. Comes with brochure detailing the age and the place of origin of the original.
