KS459/2 Skørping Ring
Viking age (800-1050 AD).
A very large silver treasure find was made in 1971 in Skørping and in a
building site in Rebild (Jylland).
The first pieces of jewelry were found in the garden of blacksmith T. H.
Larsen in Skørping. He had had fresh soil spread unto it from a nearby
building site in Rebild. Here Mr. C. L. Vebæk and contractor K. Andersen,
with the use of a caterpillar tractor (initially) found in all 122 pieces
of silver jewelry. Braided, wrought, and hammered rings, bars and scrap
silver.
Comes with brochure detailing the
age and the place of origin of the original.

KS493 Grimstad Ring
Viking age (800-1050 AD).
Found in silver, as part of the Slemmdals treasure from Grimstad in
Aust-Agder, one of Norway's most impressive Viking finds. Comes

KS706 Årslev
Ring
Viking age (800-1050 AD).
Rings of twisted threads found near Årslev, Fyn. Twisted, braided and
hammered threads were during the Viking-age developed into adornments and
hand-crafted items of value. They were worn by men and women as a token of
wealth. Comes with brochure detailing the age and
the place of origin of the original.
